Location: Remote (U.S. - must be licensed in state of residence)

Position Overview:

As a Clinical Pharmacist Advisor , you will support Medicare Part D members and providers by reviewing pharmacy benefit requests, ensuring accurate case setup, and making clinical decisions aligned with compendia, Medicare guidelines, and required timelines. You'll play a key role in delivering top-tier service through timely outreach, precise documentation, and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and decision prior authorization requests for Medicare Part D members.
  • Communicate with providers to obtain additional clinical information when needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with CMS regulations.
  • Collaborate within a clinical team to support member care and optimize outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
  • Licensure : Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license in your state of residence.
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
  • Tech Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with Access, PowerPoint, and Visio is a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to work independently in a virtual environment.

Schedule Details:

  • Training Period (First 8 Weeks) :
  • Full-time availability Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST is required .
  • No time off permitted during training.
  • All candidates must confirm they have no scheduling conflicts .
  • Post-Training Work Schedule :
  • 8-hour shifts will be assigned between 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST (Monday-Friday) .
  • Weekend rotation required (includes Saturday and/or Sunday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST ).
  • Flexibility and full availability for rotating schedules is required.
