Role Description
The Production Print Specialist (PPS) is an outside business-to-business sales position which is responsible for selling production equipment and services in our marketplace. The PPS will strategically partner with sales representatives and other internal support team members by initiating contact with both existing and prospective customers to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives to promote sales growth and profitability while providing sales expertise and support.
Responsible for selling entire production line of equipment which includes high speed digital equipment, wide format systems and industrial print engines. Must understand the software solutions associated with the production equipment. Utilizes cooperative solution selling skills to communicate company strategies. Works collaboratively with the sales force and support teams, helping to identify and sell production technology. Responsible for preparing and leading training demonstrations for customers, sales, and support teams, when necessary. Responsible for providing accurate and timely forecasts, as required by management. Works with the VP and Sales to strategize increased production opportunities for the sales and support teams by providing the necessary tools and information to achieve growth initiatives. Responsible for making outbound calls and set appointments with both existing and net new customers. Utilizes CRM by providing accurate and complete data to update account activities and appointments. Required to work with the support teams to establish client SOW, detailing scope of work, support, block of time, deliverables, schedule of fees etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred or a combination of Associate's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field with a minimum of 5 years proven selling experience. At least 2 years previous business-to-business sales experience required. Experience in the print production industry is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and provide proof of automobile insurance coverage (Certificate of Liability).
