Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Principal UX Designer to join our in-person team in Palo Alto, California. As a Principal UX Designer, you will work closely with Trustero's Engineering and Product teams to translate our Enterprise customers' needs and wants into succinct and eloquent designs.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 USD per year, plus stock options, based on experience and qualifications.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver designs that balance user needs with business goals
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that simplify complex compliance tasks for both web and AI-driven interfaces
  • Design experiences for interactive AI/LLM chat interfaces, including context-aware workflows, and dynamic interaction models
  • Lead UX efforts for dynamic, conversational AI experiences, including context-driven workflows and natural language interactions
  • Conduct UX research, usability testing, and data-driven optimizations to improve user journeys
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system across web and chat interfaces
  • Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across the company
  • Stay current on UX best practices, AI/conversational UI trends, and competitor products
Requirements
  • 8+ years of UX design experience for SaaS, with a focus on web-based platforms
  • Strong ability to translate business goals into intuitive user experiences
  • Experience designing for traditional UI and emerging natural language interactions (e.g., chat, LLM-driven workflows)
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, and Miro
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with developers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across design, product, and engineering teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a user-centered approach to complex workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in B2B, security, or compliance companies is a plus
  • Experience with React JS based UX designs
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent computer and design programs
