This permanent role is crucial to supporting ongoing submarines projects, which contribute significantly to national defence and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and agree on technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes
- Deliver compliant technical solutions that meet contractual requirements and regulations
- Generate and control design change documentation in line with company processes
- Provide specialist technical input, reviews, and support to projects beyond the immediate scope
- Utilise systems experience for both tactical and strategic development of engineers and supporting functions
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM subject
- Experience in Requirements and Integration Verification and Validation (IVV) of products
- Proficiency in test facilitation
- Experience in handling defects in test reports
- Skill in authoring test specifications
Desirable:
- Attained or progressing towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
- Experience working with submarines
- ISTQB qualification
