Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Integration and Test lead for a program out of our Fairfax, VA or Morrisville, NC locations Position Overview: The ideal candidate will Supports I&T Lead in automated testing and defining testing campaign. Basic Qualifications: Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance or have an active TS with SCI eligibility. Familiarity or willingness to learn with CAMEO, and Ground SW Systems.
Experience with scripting and doing verification test planning.
Experience with developing/maintaining an Integration and Test Plan Preferred Qualifications: Working level knowledge of CAMEO
General knowledge of Ground SW Systems and ground segment architecture.
Familiarity with other areas of Systems Engineering such as Requirements & Verification.
Willingness to support any Phase 2 Proposal needs. Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
