Role Overview As a Principal Solutions Architect at Iceotope, you will provide strategic technical leadership in designing and implementing comprehensive liquid cooling solutions for enterprise and hyperscale data center environments. You will develop reference architectures, technical frameworks, and implementation strategies that enable organizations to transition from traditional cooling approaches to our precision liquid cooling technology. Your expertise will guide both our internal teams and customers through complex infrastructure transformations that optimize cooling efficiency for AI workloads and high-performance computing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive technical architectures and reference designs that incorporate Iceotope's liquid cooling solutions into diverse data center environments
- Lead complex solution design initiatives for strategic customers, creating detailed technical roadmaps for implementation
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to influence product development based on market requirements and customer feedback
- Serve as the highest-level technical advisor on liquid cooling solutions, working with C-suite and senior IT leaders at customer organizations
- Create and validate technical proof points that demonstrate the performance, efficiency, and sustainability advantages of Iceotope solutions
- Author white papers, technical guides, and best practices documentation to support the broader market adoption of liquid cooling technology
- Represent Iceotope as a thought leader at industry events, technical conferences, and customer executive briefings
- Mentor junior technical staff and solutions engineers
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; Advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in data center infrastructure architecture, with specific expertise in cooling systems design
- Proven track record designing enterprise-scale solutions for mission-critical data center environments
- Extensive knowledge of data center thermal management, power distribution, and infrastructure optimization
- Experience developing reference architectures and technical frameworks for complex infrastructure solutions
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Deep understanding of total cost of ownership models for data center infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications- Experience designing cooling solutions specifically for high-density AI/ML computing environments
- Background in sustainability engineering or energy-efficient infrastructure design
- Published technical content related to data center infrastructure or cooling optimization
- Experience leading technical teams in solution design and development
