Secret Clearance or above required. In this role, you will be joining a team of talented software engineers who are designing and developing next-generation satellite ground station software. Our challenging domain offers the opportunity to apply new technologies to build high availability, large-scale software systems. Required Skills:
• Experience with object-oriented software development using Java, C , and Python in both Linux and Windows environments
• Experience using software tools such as Eclipse, Junit, Jenkins, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Jira, Gradle, Confluence, and Git
• Experience developing in an Agile and/or DevOps environments
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date Preferred Education/Experience Requirements
• 8 years of relevant experience and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Bachelor's degree are typically needed for this role. A Master's degree in a STEM field may be substituted for 2 years of work experience. Non-degreed professionals with demonstrated skills and commensurate experience are also encouraged to apply. Desired Skills:
• Experience programming in Ada
• Familiar with HLA-1516 or Open-DIS
• Experience with satellite ground station software
• Experience with unit and automated functional test concepts
