Principal Software Engineer SME with Security Clearance

The USCC J9 DCO effort key activities will modernize the DCO mission space to Defend the Nation against malicious cyber actors. The DCO effort will span multiple disciplines (e.g. Data Science, Systems Engineering, Analytics, Development) with a focus on building capabilities that enable knowledge driven operations and information sharing in the Cybersecurity domain to support DODIN, NC3, and the greater WOG. The DCO effort will spearhead the collection, analysis, and defense of emerging threats through a revolutionary and integrated ecosystem, a common operating picture, analytics and a communications hub, and persistent joint operations; protect systems/networks through forward-looking technologies and threat intelligence; and pioneer integrated coalitions to strategically posture with the speed and agility necessary to protect the U.S. and its allies. Deliverables will enable DODIN Areas of Operation (DAO) commanders and directors in their efforts to harden information systems, reduce the attack surface, and enable a proactive defense; operationalize knowledge to enable analysts to generate new MCA insights and a holistic view of the MCA landscape to feed battle plans; and annihilate NC3 threats to protect the U.S. and its allies from nuclear attack. Overview Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others. Qualifications Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline and one of the following: 15+ years of experience with a Masters Degree 18+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree 20+ years of experience with Associate's Degree or HS Diploma Must Have a TS/SCI With CI Poly.
