Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for Oracle EBS and Cloud solutions? We're looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the HCM domain. This is a remote, 5+ month contract with a competitive hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical solutions for the Oracle EBS platform, focusing on HCM and Cloud domains.
- Develop and support activities within the domain with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate efficiently with business, functional, and technical teams to meet project timelines.
- Maintain and support new and existing Oracle EBS HCM and Cloud functionalities.
- Generate process documentation and manage Oracle service requests.
- Perform impact analysis of Oracle product updates and reverse engineer complex modules.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of enterprise frameworks, systems integrations, and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in development tools and processes, including PL/SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Alerts, and Workflow customizations.
- Advanced understanding of the development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and object-oriented software development.
- Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio and Oracle EBS platform integrations.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications, such as Core HR, Absence Management, Time and Labor, Compensation, and Performance Management.
- Familiarity with Oracle's standards for delivering EBS and Cloud solutions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage oneself in a high-speed, self-correcting environment.
- Experience in facilitating meetings and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in an unsupervised environment.
