Total Compensation: $218,500 - $289,500
Role: Principal Software Development Engineer (SaaS, React, Node, AWS)
You will report to the Senior Director of Engineering and partner with other seasoned Principal Engineers. You will be building the company's proprietary software with scalability and performance in mind. You should have experience building software products from beginning to production. Ideally, you will be able to show your work and experience still in production today.
Qualifications Are you the technology professional who builds products with Scaling and Performance in mind?
- 10+ years' experience as a full-stack software developer.
- Are you historically the recognized leader on the team? You should have experience developing a remote engineering team.
- Postgres SQL databases, including SQL schema design, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Typescript, JavaScript, React.js and its myriad frameworks and libraries, and the whole Node.js ecosystem.
- Experience in AWS and cloud development (EKS or other Kubernetes deployments)
- Lead experience is a must (mentoring, assigning work, and supporting the professional development of on-shore and off-shore team members).
Ability to understand the product vision and lead the development.
Ability to understand key pain points in current over-the-counter products and build a software that automates many of the manual pieces.
Must be able to communicate your ideas clearly with the Technology Leadership team.
You should have ex the SME and/or Principal Developer on a previous successful project.
