This opportunity is located in San Diego, CA. What You'll get to Do: Working in Northrop Grumman Mission Systems means making a direct contribution to mission projects that keep our homeland safe, expanding the boundaries of possibility and reshaping the world we live in. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Project Manager that will be functioning as the 3MC for ships and facilities on the East and West Coast supporting the Littoral Combat Ship Mission Package Design, Engineering, Production and Sustainment (DEP&S) Program. The selected candidate will manage the SKED database for all Mission Package equipment on ships both CONUS and deployed and at ashore facilities around the world ensuring the Sailors have operating equipment to stay on task and on mission. Roles & Responsibilities: Understanding and utilizing Navy programs of record to include Planned Maintenance System (PMS) utilizing the SKED 3.2 program
Process all 13 week maintenance reports for Mission Package equipment on ships and at facilities.
Implement periodic Force Revisions (FR)
Processes Feed Back Reports (FBR) and track to completion
Provide PMS requirements for Preventive Maintenance Availabilities (PMAV) Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience; 3 Years with Master's; 1 Year with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Planned Maintenance System (PMS) utilizing the SKED 3.2 program
Candidate must have experience in the sustainment of military systems and equipment.
Must have US Citizenship and at minimum possess an active/current Interim Secret Clearance. Interim Secret required to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance for continued employment. Preferred Qualifications: Active Secret clearance Experience on LCS Class ships highly desired MFOM/AWN Job Development and Management (or equivalent USN maintenance system)
Experience in embarking/debarking LCS Class MPs
Experience performing or supporting Quality Assurance verification on production end items.
Knowledge of and experience with working within the LCS/MM programmatic and operational management environment (i.e., experience working within the NAVSEA PMS 420 and LCSRON community)
Experience in Navy maintenance to include Ship's Maintenance and Material Management (3M), Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and loading and unloading equipment from Navy ships Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
