ACO Advanced Resilience is seeking to fill multiple positions with highly motivated and experienced Technical Subject Matter Experts (SETA) to join our team. Candidates sought to provide on-site support to the ACO Advanced Resilience portfolio as a senior engineer specializing in field operations, sensor systems, and adaptive communications capabilities. Successful candidates will lead activities in the design, deployment, maintenance, operation, extension, customization, and troubleshooting of geographically distributed sensor systems to ensure continuous operation. The candidate will also lead activities associated with deploying, configuring, and maintaining adaptive communications systems proximal to sensor platforms. The role will require occasional international travel for up to 30 days in duration per trip.The ideal candidate should possess significant expertise as a full-stack developer, with familiarity in both front-end and back-end systems. The candidate should be an expert in the full lifecycle of modern software development practices and be able to demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard tools. Past experience working within the US Department of Defense or Intelligence Community in a similar capacity is required due to the highly technical nature of the role. Experience working collaboratively as part of a large team is strongly preferred. Exemplary candidates will also have demonstrated an ability to work independently to address rapidly evolving technical requirements in a research environment. Responsibilities:
• Provide expert technical advice and guidance to government stakeholders on all aspects of cyber operations, encompassing both offensive and defensive strategies, to enhance resilience against sophisticated cyber threats.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of cyber tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop innovative solutions for mitigating threats to critical assets.
• Lead and participate in red teaming engagements, emulating adversary TTPs to proactively identify and exploit vulnerabilities in critical systems and infrastructure.
• Contribute to the development and execution of cyber hunt operations, proactively searching for and eradicating advanced persistent threats (APTs) within government networks.
• Provide technical expertise in network security architecture, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint security, and incident response.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of cyber defense strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of critical assets.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in the cyber threat landscape, emerging attack vectors, and cutting-edge defensive technologies. Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber operations, with a demonstrated track record in both offensive and defensive disciplines.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in:
• Red Teaming/Penetration Testing
• Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysis
• Malware Analysis and Reverse Engineering
• Network Security Monitoring and Intrusion Detection
• Incident Response and Remediation
• Network Engineering and Security Architecture
• Experience with industry-standard security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, Network Forensics Tools).
• Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport for international travel. Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with classified network accreditation, DoD cybersecurity practices
• Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs).
• Experience in special or covert operations environments.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP). Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI required.
