Why you'll love this job As Principal, Regional Planning & Strategy you will play a pivotal role on the Strategic & Operations Planning team within the Regional division. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to shape the future of regional planning and strategy while developing and implementing innovative solutions that drive American Airline's success.

• Collaborate with six regional carriers and various mainline teams to ensure alignment and drive effective communication.
• Design and maintain affiliate models to support multi-billion dollar commitments with precision.
• Lead in-depth analyses of wholly-owned carriers' operational and financial performance, uncovering opportunities for improvement.
• Build advanced models to assess investment opportunities, including engine and aircraft upgrades, avionics enhancements, and crew supportability.
• Present critical findings and insights to senior leaders, guiding informed strategic decision-making.
• Prioritize initiatives based on impact and effort, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Devise optimal methodologies for addressing complex problems and develop robust models to support comprehensive analysis.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels, including regional carriers, mainline teams, and senior leaders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Identify and drive new opportunities aligned with team strategy, implementing streamlined processes and initiatives for success.
All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, finance, operations research)
• 5 years of airline experience, with a focus on planning, strategy, or operations

• Knowledge of airline operations, finance, and planning
• Experience with data analysis and modeling tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau)
