Principal ICA Engineer.
You will play a vital role in instrumentation and control/automation engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects both at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Your Purpose:
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
- Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge of ICA design, PLC and SCADA systems, motor control, system architecture, communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX practices, functional safety, control specifications, and system requirements in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in digital analysis packages following applicable standards and guidelines.
