Bring your skills as a Principal Hydraulic Engineer. You will play a vital role in fluid mechanics on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of fluid mechanics across sectors such as Water, Defence, Energy, Aviation, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Manchester office.
Your Purpose:
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones and programmes.
- Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge and experience in hydraulic design of water/wastewater treatment plants, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with UK standards.
- Experience with Design & Build projects.
- Proficiency in industry software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.
- Recognised industry profile.
