Job Description

Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled MuleSoft Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in integration design and architecture, extensive hands-on experience with MuleSoft, and the ability to drive collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams.
  • This role is critical in ensuring seamless data integration and process automation across various systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Integration Architecture Design:
  • Lead the design and development of scalable and secure integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Define integration patterns, data flows, and APIs to connect diverse applications and systems.
  • Develop reusable components, frameworks, and templates to streamline development.
Solution Delivery:
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of MuleSoft integration projects.
  • Ensure alignment with business requirements, technical standards, and best practices.
  • Manage the deployment of APIs and integrations across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to gather requirements and create architectural blueprints.
  • Provide technical leadership to integration developers, mentoring and guiding them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for MuleSoft technical discussions with clients and internal teams.
Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
  • Optimize integration performance, ensuring minimal latency and high availability.
  • Identify and resolve issues during the development, testing, and production phases.
Governance and Security:
  • Define and enforce API governance policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Implement data security protocols, including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides.
  • Provide regular project status updates and technical reports to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on MuleSoft platform enhancements, integration trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing integration frameworks and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in integration development and architecture.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave for data transformation.
  • Experience with API lifecycle management and API-led connectivity.
  • Familiarity with integration protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, JMS, AMQP, FTP, and SFTP. o Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid integration environments.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
Certifications (Preferred):
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1.
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide development teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and enterprise middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP/CRM systems integration.
  • Understanding of security standards like OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
