Location BENTONVILLE, AR Career Area Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Job Function Data Analytics Employment Type Regular/Permanent Position Type Salary Requisition WD What you'll do at What you'll do Position: Principal Data AnalystJob Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716Duties: Consults with internal and external organizations on complex projects impacting multiple functions and strategic initiatives by developing high-level project plans to achieve strategic goals; prioritizing and executing work streams within corporate strategies; integrating and prioritizing timelines, tasks, analysis, and team assignments; and ensuring proper planning, testing, and delivery of high-level strategic initiatives. Leads change from concept to implementation to achieve desired results by identifying and defining transformational change and processes; validating value and priority; developing plans to implement processes; assessing people's readiness for change; managing expectations; ensuring timely project management from pilot to the execution stage; and implementing sustainable processes throughout the business unit. Develops innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading an internal team; partnering with cross-functional teams across the business; assessing key opportunities; documenting project scopes; developing long-range plans and project timelines; and communicating with and influencing decision makers and executives within the organization. Drives accountability to achieve goals within a cross-functional area by developing strong relationships with stakeholders; influencing strategy directions and deliverables, recommending and gaining acceptance of technical and conceptual plans; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders.Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain or a related field plus 2 years of data analytics experience or related experience OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain or a related field plus 4 years of data analytics experience or related experience OR 6 years of data analytics experience or related experience.Skills required: Must have experience with: Designing and building analytical reports and dashboards using tools like PowerBI, Tableau; Building project health reports and setting alerts for monitoring using python; Performing data analysis from multiple data sources like Hadoop, data bricks, BigQuery using SQL, Python, pyspark; Defining and monitoring the KPI's of the projects using data visualization techniques; Identifying patterns and trends in the data using SQL, Python, Microsoft excel and performing root cause analysis; Gathering business requirements and collaborating with different stakeholders and presenting actionable insights; Building data pipelines to migrate data from multiple sources to a cloud data platform using Python, SQL, Big query, pyspark; Performing A/B testing, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, statistical inference; and Performing data visualization.
