Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong Project Management and negotiation skills to lead data-driven initiatives while managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and project leadership to drive actionable insights and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Insights- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Project Management- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, from planning and execution to delivery and reporting.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between data initiatives and business goals.
- Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to drive execution.
Stakeholder Collaboration- Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Present data-driven recommendations in a clear and actionable manner.
- Work with senior leadership to prioritize projects based on impact and feasibility.
Data Governance & Process Improvement- Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and automate reporting.
- Standardize data reporting practices across teams.
Requirements: The hired person will have the following skills, experience, and education. A successful candidate will be prepared to present and discuss examples of their work to the hiring manager.
Skills:- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Experience working with data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to align data insights with strategic objectives.
- Negotiation skills, experience in setting expectations and ability to read the room
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience:- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2+ years in a project management or lead role
Education:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the following: statistics, data science, computer science, or other data-intensive field.
