As a Principal Consultant (Net, Cloud), you will:

We are seeking a Principal Consultant with over 5+ years of experience providing network strategy and assessment consulting services and 15+ years designing and implementing large-scale multi-national transformation projects.

The Principal Consultant will be engaged as both the Consultant to provide advisory services (Strategic Assessments) to global clients and a Technical Project Lead across muti-vendor technologies, utilizing their experience across the range or projects, to provide expertise in;
  • Discovery
  • Requirements gathering (business, technical and financial)
  • Current State Architecture
  • Solution Alternatives Development
  • Recommendations and Roadmap Development
  • Design, Architecture and Integration
  • Migration planning
  • Implementation leadership & governance.
The Principal Consultant should have a proven track record of team leadership, strong business acumen skills, business case generation, financial analysis, polished oral and written communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Also, he/she should be well-rounded and adept at leading consultative engagements, workshops, assessing network environments, and architecting designs for data center and network solutions, and creating meaningful, cohesive
deliverables. In addition, the Principal Consultant should be experienced in providing presales support of the consulting and professional service engagements, able to articulate value and produce suitable materials (SOW/Proposals/Presentations) to support the growth of the team in LATAM/APAC.

Candidate Must have skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Industry Certifications CCIE, or proven equivalent experience with CCNP or CISSP
  • Very strong leadership, documentation, project management skills.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate complex networking engagements for very large environments in a nebulous or unfamiliar setting.
  • Ability to travel for engagement requirements.
  • Spoken, written Portuguese, Spanish and English
Preferred Skills:
  • 5+ years Consulting Experience delivering Strategic Assessments (including financial Analysis)
  • 15+ years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team, or within the professional services or network integration environments.
  • Planning, design, and integration of secure network technology.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and a serious desire to have an impact on your company and the industry
  • Accomplished at developing Visio designs/diagrams and documenting professional, cohesive deliverables. Sample deliverables will be requested as evidence of documentation skills.
  • Verifiable strong ethics, trustworthiness, accountability, and reliability in being resourceful and self-directed while possessing both a positive leadership and collaborative teamwork style.
Key Role:

The Principal Consultant is expected to become quickly accustomed to and follow our industry leading, repeatable project methodology, leveraging appropriate tools & templates, proactively participating in status meetings, providing project updates, chairing critical issue discussions etc. In addition, the Principal Consultant will be expected to attend ad hoc project meetings, lead scheduled design workshops/discussions, prepare and deliver executive summary presentations, attend project closure meetings, including providing key input to lessons learned sessions. The Principal Consultant will also be expected to complete all administration, reports and training on time and as directed. The Principal Consultant should also stay abreast of the latest marketing trends or chief concerns in their profession and participate in National Practice operations, process improvement and training calls, taking accountability for their own professional development and career growth, as well as sharing knowledge with others. The following is a list of other responsibilities that the Principal Consultant may/will be expected to provide the course of delivering their role
    • Lead all technical aspects of delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes on projects where the Solution Architect is the only technical resource or the lead technical resource.
    • Collaborate with team members, providing consulting services and managing project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
    • Demonstrate broad product knowledge within a specific discipline to customers.
    • Work independently on highly complex projects or as part of a team as assigned by the project leader.
    • Exhibit expert knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in the applicable discipline, along with a high level of working knowledge in other related fields. Assist less experienced peers when needed.
    • Perform work under minimal direction, demonstrating the ability to navigate and lead in complex project environments.
      • As a member of a team of advanced infrastructure consultants and lead consultants, use in-depth knowledge of networking to design and implement solutions for our clients.
    • Take responsibility for consulting project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
    • Act as the subject matter expert within a specific discipline, providing insights and solutions based on extensive experience and knowledge.
    • Lead an engagement team, consisting of other Consultants and/or Sr. Consultant, or may be the sole consulting resource on a project.
    • Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.
    • Serve as a mentor or coach, guiding less experienced peers and fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
    • Create recommendations and implement new methods, techniques, and/or procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
A successful candidate will have a broad range of the following types of technical experience.

Networking and Internetworking:
  • Thorough understanding of internetworking technologies and how technologies are deployed in complex, global networks. Experience with IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Experience in WAN and SD-WAN planning, design, and deployment. Familiarity with SD WAN, MPLS, Hybrid WAN, Internet Complex, Ethernet, Internet VPN is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MPLS Integration, including MPLS equipment & transport selection, QoS, MPLS IP Routing, and MPLS migration planning/transition.
  • Experience with large campus LAN (including wireless) planning, design, and deployment.
  • Equipment and Technology:
  • Experience in equipment selection, sizing, and detailed engineered design.
    • Experience with network virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of features, functionality, and configurations for Cisco Systems, Nortel, Juniper, Extreme Networks, etc. (specifically campus LAN, WiFi etc)
  • Knowledge and experience with SDN, Juniper, Velocloud, VMware/Virtualization, and/or IoT is also a significant plus.
Data Centre Expertise
  • Proficiency in core, distribution, and segmentation. Experience in analysis, design, engineering, and deployment of DC core networks built on legacy architectures and fabric-enabled architectures.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI SDN technologies and/or other SDDC technologies is highly desirable.
Security and Firewall Design
  • Experience with firewall design, configuration, network segmentation, and implementation, such as Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Fortinet, etc.
  • Understanding of load-balancing, F5 experience is a plus.
IP Routing and Addressing:
  • Experience in IP routing planning, design, and deployment. Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, M-BGP, EIGRP capabilities, and corresponding configurations.
  • Understanding of NAT, DNS/DHCP, Address Summarization as it impacts IP addressing and IP routing.
Cloud Technologies and SASE
  • Experience with cloud technologies, including hybrid-cloud, AWS and/or Azure, is very desirable.
  • Familiarity with SASE concepts and technologies is very desirable.

Pay Range : $ 977,000 - 1,149,000 $ Per Year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
