WiseHire are looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to help maintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure. In this role, you will design and implement automated workflows, manage cloud services, and provide technical leadership.
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with extensive knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform. You will be one of the experts in these areas and will be responsible for complex and challenging projects in this space.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain automated workflows for cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Design, configure, and manage cloud environments using infrastructure as code.
- Ensure system reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery compliance.
- Collaborate with teams to implement DevOps solutions using tools like Docker, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud operations.
- Lead cloud initiatives, provide technical guidance, and serve as a point of escalation for complex issues.
- Participate in change management, ensuring a stable and secure production environment.
Qualifications:- 10+ years of IT experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, or DevOps.
- Strong experience with AWS
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka, and GitHub.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Understanding of security, compliance (CIS, NIST), and high-availability architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under deadlines.
Compensation:- $180-230k base salary
