Bring your skills as a Principal Civil Water Engineer, playing a crucial role in water/wastewater treatment, storage, supply, and collection systems on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure. Opportunities include working on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of water treatment across various sectors, not limited to the Water sector but also supporting our wider Infrastructure Division in Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Opportunities are available in our Exeter office.

Your Purpose:

  1. Lead a team in technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
  2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  3. Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
  4. Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
  5. Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards in design.

What you can bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment, storage, hydraulics, water supply, and wastewater collection systems, with familiarity with UK design standards.
  • Experience with digital analysis packages like HADES, Infoworks, EPANET, following guidance and standards.
