Cedarhurst Elementary School seeks an equity-centered, experienced instructional leader to serve as its next Principal. They demonstrate emotional intelligence to lead authentically in partnership with staff, students, and families.At Cedarhurst, the principal must value authentic two-way communication with staff, families, and the broader school community. They will facilitate a vision that brings people together to serve all students in an inclusive setting.
The ideal candidate brings a strong instructional skill set and a deep understanding of effective teaching practices at the elementary level. They will lead staff in implementing strong standards-based instruction and inclusive practices. Effective candidates will demonstrate the ability to lead collaboratively, build cohesive systems with follow-through, and elevate teacher leadership in service of equitable and measurable student learning.
