The Principal Associate Scientist will join a multidisciplinary team and partner with scientists across our organization to discover and develop the best Helicon peptides and tailor them to fit patients needs.

Specific job duties include:
1. Be a primary data generator with opportunities to influence and guide the formulation strategy for our investigative drugs;
2. Support drug product development activities;
3. Partner with early discovery through Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) to develop and implement fit-for-purpose formulations for our Helicon;
4. Leverage internal and external capabilities to advance our programs; and
5. Lead by example and take a hands-on approach to solving our most pressing challenges.
Four (4) years of experience as a Research Associate, Scientist, or similar occupation developing formulations (parenteral and enteral) to enable preclinical research, candidate selection, and IND-enabling studies.

In addition, employer requires:

1. Demonstrated ability collaborating with cross functional teams, clients, and vendors to perform formulation development gained through four (4) years of work experience;
2. Demonstrated ability designing and optimizing stage appropriate formulations for therapeutic molecules gained through four (4) years of work experience;
3. Demonstrated ability designing and executing solubility screening experiments for therapeutic molecules gained through three (3) years of work experience;
4. Demonstrated ability writing laboratory notebooks and technology transfer documents gained through three (3) years of work experience;
5. Demonstrated ability developing U/HPLC-based analytical methods to support formulation development gained through two (2) years of work experience; and
6. Demonstrated ability screening and optimizing lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) gained through one (1) year of work experience.

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
Employer requires a masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field
