About Our Team

Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services, including drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients span the UK and internationally, including water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers.

Opportunity

It's an exciting time to work for our UK Water business with unprecedented investment in the water industry. We seek to recruit a Principal / Associate Hydraulic Modeller in Epsom/London to lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks with a leading UK Water Company.

Your Role
  • Leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans, flood alleviation, and environmental projects.
  • Leading model build, maintenance, and verification projects.
  • Developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies.
  • Ensuring quality and standards compliance in outputs.
  • Driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Managing or supporting project managers.
  • Supporting tender responses and fee estimates.
  • Supervising and developing staff, providing guidance for professional growth.
  • Contributing to technical innovation and leading improvement workgroups.
Candidate Requirements
  • Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent projects.
  • Expertise in InfoWorks ICM, catchment planning, and solutions development.
  • Ability to review work for quality assurance and improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS 365, PowerBI, SharePoint; experience with FME, Optimatics, Ruby is advantageous.
  • Relevant degree or vocational qualification.
  • Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM is advantageous.
