Our collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services, drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers across the UK and internationally.

It's an exciting time to work in our UK Water business, with unprecedented investment in the water industry. Due to continued framework successes, we seek to recruit a Principal / Associate Hydraulic Modeller to join our Wastewater Team in Bristol/Cardiff. You will lead one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks with a leading UK Water Company.

Your purpose
  • Leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plans, flood alleviation, and environmental solutions.
  • Leading model build, maintenance, and verification projects.
  • Developing and delivering wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
  • Ensuring quality and standards compliance of outputs.
  • Driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Supporting project managers in managing projects and programs.
  • Contributing to tender responses and fee estimates.
  • Supervising and developing staff, supporting their professional growth.
  • Leading technical innovation and improvement workgroups.
What you can bring
  • Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality projects.
  • Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
  • Hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development skills.
  • Ability to review and assure quality of work.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS 365, PowerBI, SharePoint; experience with FME, Optimatics, Ruby advantageous.
  • Relevant degree or vocational qualification.
  • Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM advantageous.
