Principal Analytics Consultant

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis or insurance industry economics
  2. OR 10 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics
  3. 4 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy
  4. Contributes to the development of functional strategy
  5. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives

  1. Analytical and conceptual thinking, anticipates implications and trends, develops contingency plans, identifies core issues in complex situations
  2. Effective communication and results-oriented, communicates complex issues clearly to diverse audiences and secures support for initiatives

What You Will Be Doing

  1. 40% Construct forecasts and strategic plans based on business data and market knowledge
  2. 30% Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
  3. 30% Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements

Daily Responsibilities

  1. 30% Provide consultation to users
  2. 40% Lead cross-functional teams
  3. 30% Analyze complex business problems
