Primary School Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in Spanish across multiple subjects, including Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies.
- Craft lesson plans that align with established curriculum standards.
- Desire to contribute to curriculum development and supporting the school's academic advancement.
- Lead engaging Spanish conversational classes focused on pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and practical language use.
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student development and addresses diverse learning needs.
- Research and implement effective teaching strategies, including innovative materials and language games to enhance student learning.
- Integrate educational technology into daily instruction to enhance student engagement, personalize learning, and support academic achievement.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Organizing feedback sessions with students and their parents if applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related required.
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time teaching experience, preferably with elementary school students.
- Native speaker proficiency in Spanish required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Elementary Education or related preferred.
- Experience working in independent schools.
- Experience with International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP).
- Passion for foreign language education.
- Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
