Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Primary Lead Teacher to guide a mixed-age classroom of children ages 3 6. The ideal candidate will bring a deep respect for young children, a strong commitment to Montessori principles, and a high level of professionalism and flexibility to their role in fostering independence, curiosity, and growth in early childhood learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate Montessori environment
  • Guide students through individualized and group lessons using Montessori materials
  • Foster independence, concentration, and positive social interactions among students
  • Communicate professionally and collaboratively with parents and colleagues
  • Observe and assess student development, maintaining accurate records
  • Uphold Montessori values and model respectful, intentional behavior in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AMI, AMS, or MACTE-accredited Montessori Certification for the Primary (3 6) age level
  • Bachelor s degree (required), preferably in Education or a related field
  • Previous experience teaching in a Montessori Primary classroom
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism and flexibility in all aspects of the role
