Klamath Health Partnership (KHP) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare to underserved populations in Klamath Falls and surrounding rural communities. We offer integrated primary care, dental, behavioral health, and supportive services in a team-based model of care.

Position Summary

The Primary Care Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and coordination with multidisciplinary care teams. This position plays a critical role in advancing KHP's mission of improving the health of our community through compassionate, equitable care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical care to patients across the lifespan, including routine physicals, chronic disease management, urgent care, and preventive services
  • Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines
  • Collaborate with behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, and case management teams to ensure holistic patient care
  • Document encounters thoroughly and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and population health strategies
  • Engage in continuing medical education and maintain active licensure and board certification
  • Supervise and mentor clinical support staff and if applicable, residents or students

Required Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration and BLS certification
  • Commitment to providing care in a community health setting with diverse populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or community-based setting
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
