We are seeking a skilled and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As an Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing work-related injuries and illnesses, as well as providing preventative healthcare services to employees. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
Nurse Practitioner, graduated from an accredited program. Must be able to perform certain physician's duties including history taking, physical examination, diagnostic tests, and treatment. All under the responsible supervision of a licensed physician.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical duties such as history taking, patient evaluation, all other routine medical procedures and minor surgical procedures, diagnosis, and recommended treatment. All under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Physician.
- Collaborate with Clinical Staff to ensure patient is attended to and diagnosed with proper recommendations of employer on patient required medical care.
- Manage measures for preventive care and screening of employer groups to reduce the risk of work related injuries and reduce injury incidence.
- Assist with investigations to identify the root cause of incidents/injuries and recommend appropriate actions to improve safety and performance in the work place.
- Provide guidance with the treatment and follow-up care of patients.
- Oversee and manage the required physical evaluation programs to meet regulatory requirements; such as OSHA and CDC.
Requirements:
- MUST have Proper FL State Licensure with NO restrictions.
- MUST be DOT certified or certified within 30 days of hire.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to reason and carry out instructions from supervising physician.
- Must be able to work with a team and be able to delegate tasks effectively.
- Possesses excellent communication skills.
