Purpose
This position will maximize profitability through strategic management of pricing, rebates and agreements
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing: Pricing oversight for new and existing dealer programs and 2-step distribution to ensure growth and expansion
- Oversee and organize current price zones to improve consistency, profitability and ensure credibility in the marketplace.
- Develop and implement price strategies that maximize profitability in relation to regional and national markets
- Work hand in hand with operations (plant controllers) to manage and ensure highest level of profitability is being achieved
- Provide reporting on price by customers, by SKU, by sales rep, along with recommendations for improving margin
- Work closely with sales force to obtain market and competitive pricing to best provide recommendations and analysis
- Responsible for management of new price sheets and maintenance, including analysis of key price factors including freight and product specificity
- Rebate: Manage and organize all current and new rebate programs
- Manage tracking for all rebate programs with distribution and dealer partners, including proper data is obtained, dollars are accrued, check requests and payments are made.
- Take ownership of all indirect rebate programs including developing new templates, collecting and collating data, and conducting profitability analysis
- Ensure proper accruals and payments are in-line with budgets, working in collaboration with finance department
- Provide guidance to EWP sales leadership on pricing strategies based on profitability reports and market intelligence
- Agreements: Responsible for developing and implementing rebate templates for distribution, dealers and builders
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining Roseburg compliance by working directly with Legal and Finance
- Manage calendar and cadence of all agreement, ensuring timely adherence to program renewals.
- Responsible for developing new agreements, supporting the sales staff in their selling process to achieve growth target in a fast-moving environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance or a related field and 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or related field
- Experience with rebate management and pricing strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales teams, operations, and customers
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools
- Proficiency in database management
- Proficient working with ERP systems and information systems such as Tableau and Oracle
- Enjoys working in a team environment
