JOB SUMMARY

The Pricing/Purchasing System Administrator develops new tools and processes to support Ohio Transmission's supply chain goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the identification of opportunities through analysis, proposing sustainable solutions, and helping to implement key supply chain initiatives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Pricing/Purchasing System Administrator conducts analysis with the goal of assisting in the process improvement of the organization's supply chain operations. The Pricing/Purchasing System Administrator will interface with commodity managers, segment/vertical resources, and end-users in the execution of his/her duties and responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain pricing integration through an online pricing portal utilizing formula-based pricing adjustments on a reoccurring basis;
  • Create and maintain punch out integration utilizing a cataloging system for procurement;
  • Generate strategic reporting to meet the needs of both the segment/vertical and Corporate;
  • Monitor, report, analyze, and forecast key drivers (from a supply chain perspective) that impact financial results;
  • Develop and maintain performance management scorecards, including metrics definition, target setting, and results measurement;
  • Determine through data analysis the opportunity to consolidate and leverage spend utilizing the cataloging system;
  • Work with Commodity Managers to analyze commodity cost drivers and to develop creative solutions to managing and reducing total cost of ownership;
  • Identify and support implementation of supply chain improvement opportunities;
  • Work on special projects as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or technical field and 3-5 years' experience in supply chain, operations, finance or supply chain related role;
  • Advance proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to create formula-based spreadsheets, sort and pivot data from multiple systems;
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in utilizing Project Management methodologies to manage and execute projects;
  • Experienced in statistical data analysis for efficient decision making and benchmarking of material flow;
  • Extremely organized with excellent follow up;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and desire for continuous knowledge;
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and cost management focus;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
