Position SummaryThe Pricing Analyst will be responsible for tracking compliance with company pricing policies and objectives, identifying areas of improvement, and will play an active role in budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
The Role- Reviews and/or audits pricing setup and billings for new customers in NAV/EW against customer update sheets and contracts to ensure the following objectives are met:
- Price sheets are set up in EnviroWare with the agreed-upon pricing.
- Customer invoices reflect the agreed-upon pricing.
- Total billings( quantities and amounts ) are in line with estimated billings shown on the customer update sheet and contracts.
- Analyzes company and/or client-specific price increases to document achieved results ($ and % change) compared to the estimated increases ( $ and % change)
- Creates pro-forma analysis showing the estimated revenue, % increase, and effective date of changes.
- Updates proforma analysis after the price changes to track the revenue dollars and the pricing increase percentage achieved versus the estimates above.
- Follow-up with the Sales Group to ensure price increases were effective as of the date indicated.
- Identifies Customers with pricing not reflected on customer price sheets ( missing or incomplete) and reports exceptions to management and sales team for resolution.
- Prepares audit reports and maintains work papers supporting conclusions in the audit reports including descriptions of procedures completed, items reviewed, exceptions noted, and explanations for variances and exceptions.
- Prepares summary reports and presentations to the management of findings.
- Prepares monthly comparative summary of Waste Disposal Expenses by Branch and Disposal Facility and identifies disposal facilities with missing product codes in EnviroWare.
- Builds Revenue and Direct Cost financial models for budgeting.
- Assists with Master Price sheet updates ( Sales Price and vendor cost) due to Vendor Cost increases.
- Manage Customer Project Accounting ( Job and Task) Setup in NAV
Required Education, Experience, and Training- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- 2-3 years of Financial Analysis/Accounting experience
- Proficient computer skills, Accounting Systems, MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, SQL
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
- Ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor
Supervisory Responsibility - This position will not have any supervisory responsibility at this time.
