As their business continues to grow, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Preventive Maintenance Lead Technician to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians in performing preventive maintenance on industrial and hydronic boilers.
  • Train entry-level technicians on boiler shutdown, opening, annual maintenance, closing, and proper startup procedures.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards.
  • Perform hydro testing, combustion analysis, and troubleshoot issues involving boilers, deaerators, feed tanks, and pumps.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate clearly using industry-standard terminology.
  • Collaborate with the coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing for all maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and recommend additional service needs beyond the initial scope of work.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Lead Boiler Maintenance Technician.
  • Expertise in industrial and hydronic boiler systems, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially related to hydro testing and combustion analysis.
  • Ability to train and coach entry-level technicians in technical procedures and safety practices.
  • Excellent customer service abilities and professional communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset for recommending additional services and repairs.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with manufacturers like Cleaver Brooks, Hurst, Kewanee, Superior, Fulton, Johnston, York Shipley, and others.
  • Knowledge of boiler feedwater systems, pumps, and deaerators.
