Volt is immediately hiring for a Brake Press Assistant Operator in Ft. Worth, Texas.
As a Brake Press Assistant Operator you will:
- Brake Press, Shear-Setting up
- Operate brake press machines to bend and form precision sheet metal to meet customer specifications.
- Understand blueprint as it relates to the finished part
- Must be able to select the proper dies in order to create the proper radius as required by the drawing
- Able to hold close tolerances on sheet metal parts per engineer drawings
- Work with Amada and Pacific machines is required
- Forklift operation
This is a full-time opportunity. Hours Mon Fri 5:00a-2:30p
The ideal candidate will have:
- Metal fabrication: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1-3 5 years (Preferred)
- Willing to move around to other operations (flexibility)
- Must understand proper use of hand tools and calibrated measuring tools
- Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
- Must be able to stand up to 90% of the day
- Must be able to work in unheated or non-air-conditioned areas
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
