We are seeking an experienced President of Rhinebeck Asset Management to lead and manage a high-performing team of financial advisors, wealth relationship managers, and sales assistants. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive wealth management strategies for clients, ensuring their satisfaction through effective investment portfolio management, estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management. As a strategic leader, the President will also drive business growth, identify new business opportunities, and maintain a high level of regulatory compliance within the financial services industry. This leadership position will work closely with internal teams, including Retail Banking and Commercial Lending, to maximize cross-selling opportunities and build a strong referral program. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial products, markets, and regulations, along with a proven track record of leadership and business development in wealth management. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and support a team of financial advisors, wealth relationship managers, and sales assistants, setting performance goals and conducting regular evaluations. Develop and implement a strategic vision for the wealth management department, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the organization. Collaborate with Retail Banking and Commercial Lending teams to promote a strong referral program, providing training to identify wealth management opportunities. Meet with clients to assess their financial needs, create personalized investment strategies, and provide ongoing portfolio reviews to optimize their wealth. Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and addressing their evolving financial needs. Represent the Bank at networking and community events, strengthening relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business and enhance the Banks presence in the community. Stay current on market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions and ensure division growth and profitability. Act as the primary point of contact for complex client inquiries, working collaboratively with the advisory team to resolve issues and enhance the client experience. Ensure the team operates within regulatory and compliance guidelines while delivering exceptional client service. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required. Master of Business Administration preferred. Series 7, 24, 63, 65 and Life & Health Insurance license required. At least 15+ years of progressive experience in wealth management with a proven track record of sales success and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Proven experience in wealth management, with a strong record of leadership and achieving business development and client satisfaction goals. Expertise in financial products, markets, and industry regulations, with a strong focus on risk management, tax optimization, and estate planning. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams, fostering an environment of professional growth and high performance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to clients clearly and effectively. Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities. Proficiency in financial software and tools. In-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring a high level of trust and satisfaction.
