As a Food Prep team member at SIE Culinary Management, you play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations. This position combines preparation duties with dishwashing responsibilities to ensure the smooth flow of culinary activities.

Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.

- Ability to handle kitchen equipment and utensils safely.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations.

- Reliable and punctual.

Description of Job Duties

Food Preparation

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to recipes.

- Chop, slice, and dice vegetables, meats, and other food items as per the chef's instructions.

- Maintain a clean and organized prep area.

Line Cooking

- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to execute a seamless service during peak hours.

- Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare and plate dishes with precision and consistency

Kitchen Support

- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of operations.

- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.

- Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols.

Cleaning and Maintenance

- Keep kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized.

- Empty trash and recycling containers regularly.

- Assist in routine cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Exposures encountered, such as hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold for kitchen appliances.

Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and typing.

Physical effort/lifting is medium - up to 50 pounds up to heavy - over 50 pounds.
