Responsibilities
Are you a kitchen whiz with a knack for prepping, cleaning, and keeping things running smoothly? We're on the hunt for a Prep Cook/Porter who's ready to join our culinary adventure. You'll be the unsung hero of our kitchen, ensuring everything is prepped to perfection while keeping the workspace sparkling clean. If you love food and thrive in a bustling environment, this is the place for you.
Key Responsibilities: Prep Like a Pro: Get your game face on as you tackle the daily prep list-think protein prep, veggie chopping, and sauce crafting.
Stock Star: Keep our kitchen stocked and ready to rock throughout your shift. No one likes a bare pantry.
Clean Machine: Show off your cleaning skills by sanitizing equipment, utensils, and tools. A tidy kitchen is a happy kitchen.
Dish Duty: Ensure our plates shine bright by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware. You'll be the dishwashing champion.
Health Hero: Maintain a clean work area while following health and safety guidelines. Safety first, fun always.
Team Player: Follow the chef's lead and collaborate with your fellow cooks to create culinary magic.
Storage Savvy: Master the art of food storage and rotation-no one likes expired ingredients.
Kitchen Keeper: Help keep our kitchen, floors, walk-in refrigerators, and freezers clean and organized. A tidy space is a happy place.
Pot Washing Wizard: Assist with washing large pots, sheet trays, and hotel pans. You'll be the hero of the heavy lifting.
Meeting Maven: Attend meetings and training sessions to stay in the loop and keep your skills sharp.
Order Assistant: Help the chef receive daily orders and store proteins, veggies, and groceries like a pro.
Qualifications
- Three (3) months of restaurant experience preferred.
