POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of a Prep Cook involves assisting the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under time constraints, and a commitment to upholding food safety and quality standards. The Prep Cook plays a vital role in contributing to the seamless operation of the kitchen and ensuring the timely preparation of ingredients for culinary activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Follow prep lists & recipes.
  • Properly stock BEO Carts to set the team up for success
  • Help "fire" food during meal times when directed.
  • Maintain proper food handling procedures.
  • Keep a clean workspace.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have an active food handlers card.
  • Must have food safety skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to working hours, as event schedules require.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred and considered a plus.
  • Must be friendly, reliable, and punctual.
