Prep cooks are responsible for the preparation of ingredients and stations used in the cooking process as well as maintaining the kitchen and equipment and ensuring the work area remains clean and sanitized.
Requirements
At least one year kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant
Understanding of classic sauces, cutting techniques, and basic recipes
Strong desire to learn and grow
Full availability, including weekends
Commitment to high-quality food standards
Knowledge of and adherence to health department regulations
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Pay: $13-$18 per hour, based on experience
