The incumbent is responsible for the daily set up, cleaning and tear down activities within the main kitchen, satellite kitchen, and Soda Shop/General Store, as well as delivery of meals and beverages to a second building via Tray service. Functions will include, but are not limited to, basic cooking, cleaning, ware washing, refuse removal, food storage and rotation of products, inventory control, temperature checks and documentation, plate service and tray service, and transportation of meals to different areas of the complex.
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two year's experience in foodservice and minimal "break-in" time.
- Must possess basic cooking and customer service skills, and knowledge of food safety and dish room operations.
- Must be personable and work well with individual Residents and other staff during eating/feeding times.
- Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and transition from one task to another frequently throughout each shift.
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
