Responsibilities

Picture yourself being a Prep Cook at Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:
  • Produce consistent quality dishes that are visually appealing while working the line with a smile
  • Maintain a high level of responsibility and attention to detail when cooking and plating product, without the need for constant direct supervision
  • Step into any support role and maintain harmonious relationships with other support team members by being open to completing any task or function that will enhance the culinary experience
  • Follow established procedures, inventory systems and processes to assure compliance with our brand standards
  • Demonstrate your cleanliness standards by maintaining the line and stations in impeccable order
  • Accept feedback and coaching from culinary leaders
  • Learn and follow our Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics to better serve our guests
Qualifications

Recipe for Success:
  • Have at least 1 years' experience in high volume dining
  • Possess a passion for the culinary arts and the hospitality industry
  • Possess basic knowledge of proper food handling, food temperatures, kitchen equipment, tools and small wares
  • Able to follow recipes and adhere to food allergies
  • Have a strong sense of urgency and responsibility for completing work quickly and correctly
  • Possess a coachable and team player demeanor
  • Exhibit clean work habits and ownership of a safe, clean work area
  • Possess the ability to excel in an environment with repetitive tasks in a steady or fast, even pace
  • Work within established standards and procedures
  • Be available to work early, mid-day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Be able to lift at least 25 pounds
