Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments and offices.
  • Manage litigation caseloads independently, from inception to resolution.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and provide detailed status updates.
  • Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
    • Licensed to practice in California.
    • 10+ years of experience in insurance defense, premises liability, catastrophic loss, and general liability.
    • Experience in negligent security cases is a plus.
    • Strong background in trial proceedings and dispositive motion practice.
    • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Familiarity with legal project management is advantageous.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Annual salary range: $175,000-$200,000+ USD (subject to variation based on experience, location, and other factors).
    • Eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
