The Preconstruction Manager will participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and business development for Utah and beyond. The ideal candidate is creative, innovative, enthusiastic - with a hands-on, can-do attitude, and track record of successful business development experience.


POSITION OVERVIEW

This opportunity is for an experienced Architecture / Engineering / Construction (A/E/C) industry specific Business Development professional who will be responsible for fostering current key relationships and developing new ones, along with identifying business opportunities critical for Steed Construction's growth and success in the region. Other responsibilities include participation in trade association meetings, attending job walks, and participating in the management of the company's social media presence.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The main role of the Preconstruction Manager is to support our Salt Lake office in marketing our brand, developing new business opportunities, assisting in the preparation of budgets and bids, and ensuring that Steed Construction remains relevant in multiple market segment. Marketing/Research/Brand

  • Preparing Marketing Material
  • Brochure Customization
  • RFP and RFQ response Coordination
  • Update:
  • CRM Dashboard
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Market research Updates

Business Development

Weekly updates on Opportunities / Client Research

Coordinating Client Meetings for group leads or self

Strategic research for growth areas and opportunities

Develop lead sources

Win planning and pre-project submission review and prep


Cultural Development and Administrative Duties

Participates in maintaining and posting interior and exterior monthly public relations articles on the Social Media sites to maintain a presence in the marketplace. - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.


REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business, or equivalent

Broad marketing experience, preferably in construction, engineering, architecture, real estate, or related industry is a plus

Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including proofreading

Computer literate. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of an advanced aptitude for MS Office Suite, (Outlook, Project, Excel, and Word), CRM Platforms

Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves self-starter, with flexibility as well as ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated business acumen; curious about organizational systems and structures, business strategies, and industry trends.

Not afraid of ambiguity and works to simplify even the most complex.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.

Stellar written and verbal communication skills.

Unwavering commitment to service and quality.
