MUST have Precast experiences Prior Estimating experiences helpful but is not required This role is almost exclusively Project Management Reports to: General Manager Summary: This position is responsible for leading the communication and coordination between Project Leaders, internal departments, and external consultants, ensuring that all project timelines and expectations are met for the projects success. The PM is part of the Production Project team and is considered the main point of contact with our customers, Construction Managers, and General Contractors, assuring customers have timely responses and follow-up to all communication. Attends all meetings between consultants, customers, General Contractors and Construction Managers, documenting and summarizing all decisions and/or changes that occur. Facilitates a highly organized process and clear communication between all parties. Accountabilities: & PROJECT COORDINATION: After awarded a project, responsible for coordination of all phases of the job including driving timelines and accountability for submittal dates, scheduling timelines, and delivery dates. Also responsible for quick resolution of project repairs. & DESIGN MANAGEMENT: Oversees external consultants preparation of high quality, accurate, and detailed precast shop drawings, and piece drawings from architectural and structural documents. & COMPETENCIES: Leadership, communicating with impact, commitment/dedication, problem solving/quality Improvement, and teamwork. The development of these competencies are necessary to perform at the level required in this position. & SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT: Takes safety seriously at all times. PROJECT COORDINATION: & After being awarded a project, facilitates the internal kick-off meeting, working along with internal departments and design and engineering consultant to delegate a clear breakdown of project responsibilities and milestones. & Schedules and facilitates the Customer Coordination meeting, which includes Project Team, design and engineering consultant, customer, and construction manager/general contractor, to delegate a clear breakdown of project responsibilities and milestones. & Oversees all project timelines and ensures clear communication is occurring with participants, including client, vendors. & Has authority to direct and hold accountable all participants to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met. This includes customers and engineers. & Creates and maintains applications and technology to track progress of all projects. & Facilitates project coordination in a highly organized and detailed manner, assuring no steps are missed and all deadlines are met. & Attends daily production meetings to check on progress and process to meet customer needs and profitability. & Facilitates job pre-planning process to ensure key job components are understood including scope, custom details, hardware, lifting, molds, production capacity, schedule, jobsite, delivery, etc. DESIGN MANAGEMENT: & Oversees engineering and design consultants preparation of clear, complete, and accurate precast shop drawings and piece drawings from architectural and structural documents. & Ensures all individual and team deadlines are meeting or exceeding the agreed upon schedule, both internally and externally. & Ensures that all engineering and design documents have the necessary information to fabricate and erect precast components per construction documents. & Checks production drawings, verifying accuracy of information from erection drawings, and conformance to company standards and engineers design calculations. & Checks erection drawings to verify accuracy and conformance to architectural and structural construction documents. Verify erection drawing details to ensure conformance to the Company contract. & Facilitates coordination with consultants for shop drawings and production drawings. & Works closely with external engineering and design consultants, sales/Project Team, Production, and mold shop to establish and ensure logistics and accuracy of specifications. & Uses strategic thinking with all production departments to ensure profitability, efficiency, and meeting the overall goals of projects.
