Role Overview:

We are seeking a Pre Sales Solution/Implementation Engineer with deep domain knowledge in ABL lending and loan servicing to support our sales team and customer onboarding processes. This individual will play a critical role in bridging product capabilities with client needs-helping to demo, design, and implement tailored solutions that address complex lender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and deliver tailored product demonstrations for ABL, BBC (Borrowing Base Certification), and loan servicing use cases
  • Translate lender requirements into solution design proposals, product configurations, and implementation plans
  • Lead or support product onboarding, configuration, and implementation efforts for new customers
  • Provide subject matter expertise in asset-based lending structures, borrowing base calculation logic, advance rate rules, collateral management, and loan servicing workflows
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal product/engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and onboarding
  • Assist with RFP responses, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps
  • Educate clients on product capabilities and best practices throughout the sales and post-sales journey
  • Collect client feedback and identify enhancement opportunities for the product roadmap

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in asset-based lending, commercial lending, or loan servicing-ideally in a fintech, bank, or lending institution
  • Strong understanding of BBC processing, collateral types, loan advance calculations, and loan servicing functions
  • Experience working in solution engineering, sales engineering, product implementation, or related client-facing technical roles
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive product adoption
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ABL software platforms, core banking systems, or loan origination/servicing platforms
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for commercial lending and servicing
  • Prior experience working with banks, credit unions, or non-bank financial institutions
  • Technical background or ability to understand APIs, data integration workflows, and configuration tools
