Location: Cirencester/Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
This is a superb full-time Network Infrastructure/Solutions role with a 75% Presales and 25% hands-on split.
As an accomplished, pre-sales focused Network Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to influence the technical roadmap for the company, alongside designing and producing scalable, robust, and innovative solutions for our growing customer base.
This architecture and engineering role is flexible, providing full lifecycle network design and deployment for projects as needed, or offering flexibility to match customer demand. As the role develops, it can lead to specialization in design or deployment.
Ideal experience and qualifications:
- A passion for technology - design and implementation of solutions
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Experience with leadership/mentorship of junior engineers
- Cisco SD Access, Firepower Firewalls, Cisco Switching (Catalyst and Nexus)
- DNAC experience
- Network automation technologies such as Auvik, Ansible/AWX, Netmiko
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi design and implementation, experience with survey hardware and software such as Ekahau
- Experience with ADSL/FTTC MPLS WAN, VPN Connections, Aerohive, Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto, and Juniper Firewalls, switches, and access points
- Meraki and Extreme Wi-Fi and Switching
- Microsoft operating systems, Netsuite, PRTG Network Monitor, TeamViewer, SolarWinds
- Experience of security solutions such as Endpoint, Identity Management, CASB, and MDR
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) protocols such as Modbus and BACnet
- Experience working with Operational Technology (OT) networks including Industrial Switching, LoRaWAN, 4/5G Routers, SMS gateways, and low voltage (24VDC) hardware installations
- Cisco CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP certifications
