THE ROLE

The Pre-Sales Manager will lead all pre-opening sales and community engagement efforts for new studio locations. This role is pivotal in generating excitement, establishing local partnerships, and building a strong membership base before the studio doors officially open. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales acumen, event planning expertise, and a passion for health and wellness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Events
  • Oversee Sales Virtual Assistants (VAs): Manage and mentor a team of Sales VAs responsible for tasks such as lead generation, CRM management, and customer outreach. Ensure their activities align with Momentic Studios' sales objectives and maintain high performance standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Sales VAs, regularly assess performance metrics, and provide constructive feedback to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in sales processes.
  • Plan and Execute Pre-Sale Events: Organize brand events, community events, and wellness collaborations to introduce the studio to the community and generate leads. Partnership
  • Develop Local Partnerships: Collaborate with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets to co-host or promote brand activations, enhancing community engagement and visibility.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency: Ensure that all events and activations align with Momentic Studios' brand values and effectively communicate our mission to the community.
Marketing & Local Awareness
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing department to launch geo-targeted campaigns, content releases, and local social media promotions tailored to the specific market.
  • Identify Market Opportunities: Analyze community insights and demographics to uncover unique marketing opportunities and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain Studio Readiness: Lead pre-sale kickoffs and conduct weekly meetings to ensure the studio team remains accountable and maintains momentum leading up to the grand opening.
  • On-the-Ground Expertise: Act as the local expert for sales, events, and brand execution, providing hands-on support and guidance to the studio team.
Reporting & Optimization
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track and report weekly performance indicators, including leads generated, tours conducted, sales closed, conversion rates, and return on investment for campaigns and events.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Offer leadership data-driven insights and recommendations to refine and enhance future pre-sale programs.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of pre-sale activities, including event checklists and campaign playbooks, to ensure consistency and scalability across different markets.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years in sales, marketing, events, or brand activation roles (multi-location or franchise experience a plus)
  • Proven success in community outreach, experiential marketing, or high-volume membership sales
  • Strong event planning skills, with an eye for brand details and local engagement
  • Experience training or leading small teams in dynamic, customer-facing settings
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
  • Passionate about wellness, human connection, and helping people discover new experiences
  • Willing and able to travel to support pre-sale periods across different markets

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $69,000 - $75,000 annually
Travel: Local travel to our locations/markets
