Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pre-Owned Car Acquisition Manager located in Albany, NY. The Pre-Owned Car Acquisition Manager will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of pre-owned vehicles, managing inventory levels, and maintaining relationships with vendors and customers. Daily tasks include evaluating trade-ins, attending auctions, negotiating purchase agreements, and ensuring that the pre-owned inventory meets company standards. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive knowledge of market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle acquisition, inventory management, and market evaluation
- Strong negotiation and purchasing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with automotive inventory management software
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field preferred but not required
