North Carolina personal injury firm with a proven track record of high-quality legal services seeks a pre-litigation case manager / paralegal to join our Raleigh team. This position is fast-paced and requires multi-tasking skills. Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Opening insurance claims;
- Drafting and sending of legal correspondence (providers, insurance carriers, employers);
- Preparing demand packages;
- Requesting medical records and billing;
- Preparing waiver and reduction letters;
- Communication with providers and insurance carriers to verify treatment;
- Assisting attorney in managing settlements and preparation of settlement disclosure statements.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of customer service experience;
- Prefer personal Injury experience;
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Ability to demonstrate project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects with minimal supervision.
- Fluent or conversational Spanish is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
Competitive pay commensurate with skills and experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
